Ingredients
Extra Firm Tofu1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
A little sea salt to taste
1 tablespoon Olive oil
A good dollop of sriracha sauce or other hot sauce ( or as much as you like)
Dip
1/4 cup mayonnaise or vegan substitute
1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
( Mix well together)
Method
Preheat the oven to 425 FRinse the Tofu and pat dry with a paper towel.
Cut the Tofu into sticks to look like fries. Add all the rest of the ingredients and toss gently to ensure that all the tofu is covered. Be gentle so as not to break the Fries. Put the fries in a single layer on a lined and greased baking sheet.
Bake about 10 minutes until golden and crispy firm. Check after 5 minutes and shake the tray or turn over the fries. Watch so they do not burn. Sprinkle with sea salt to taste.
Servings: I got 78 fries from a 450 g block.
