Stuffed Jalepeno Peppers

If you are looking for an easy appetizer that will knock your socks off, look no further.  This is so easy and quick to prepare that you do not have to wait for company to indulge in these tasty comforting appetizers. Once you make these you will no longer eat store-bought Jalapeño Poppers again.

Ingredients

6 Jalapeno Peppers, cut lengthwise and seeds removed
1/2 cup cream cheese softened (at room temperature)
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
salt and pepper (1/4 teaspoon each)

Method

This can be made in the air fryer or the oven.

If using the oven, preheat the oven to 450F.  Line a cookie tray with parchment paper and grease with a kitchen spray, or lightly oil.

Mix the 2 cheese types and salt and pepper with a fork to combine well.

Using a teaspoon put some of the cheese mixture in the jalapeño.  Press with the back of the teaspoon to firmly stuff the pepper.

When all the stuffing is used up transfer the peppers to the baking tray.   Spray again lightly with a kitchen oil.
Put into a preheated oven, or directly on the rack of the air fryer at 400 degrees.
Bake for about 10 minutes until brown and bubbling. Serve warm
